Eastern Primary School Dundee installs MUGA
The school set an ambitious £25,000 fund raising target for improvements to its playground a few months ago.
A synthetic playing surface, a climbing wall and a staged area for singing and dancing were among the plans for the main playground at Eastern Primary School Broughty Ferry in Dundee .
Infants were also hoping to benefit from proposed improvements including play equipment, friendship areas and refurbishment of the shelter.
The project involved the parent council and input from the pupils themselves in the form of drawings and discussions about the playground.
LeisureTec
was given the contract to install the MUGA. They carried out base repairs and then installed a Pro Play NF15 shock pad together with its “PlayStyle” synthetic surface. Now the school and the children have a facility for the forthcoming year to be proud of. Other primary schools in Dundee are watching with interest to see how the new area impacts on the school's activities.
